    This is by far the most frequently asked question. While new-home prices will vary depending on the size, design, inclusions and site (block) conditions – the good news is, our experienced and friendly team is able to provide you with a price guide, based on your brief.   • How long will my home take to build?

    As a general guide, most single-storey projects will take around 10 months, while two-storey projects take from 10 - 14 months. Your home build is a two-part process. The design stage is largely determined by how quickly you make decisions. Then, once we’ve agreed on the plan, the build stage is usually between 20 - 26 weeks. We will confirm the build time for your new home before you sign the contract, then we’ll hold ourselves contractually accountable to delivering on time.

  • Should I have plans drawn up before getting in touch?

    No, there’s no need to get plans drawn up before you talk to us—we’ll match you with professionals best-suited to your needs.

  • Where do we start?

  • Will Blackett take care of the demolition?

    Yes, we certainly will! This is quick and easy for us to arrange, and will typically cost between $20,000 - $25,000, inclusive of asbestos removal and development approvals. You’ll be amazed at how quickly your old home will be demolished!

  • How can I make my home more energy efficient?
